Another photo frame done

I did this photo frame/sign  today for a 25th wedding anniversary.   But first here are my precious boys next to me on the couch.  Buster Brown loves his down filled blankie!!  He will lay like this for a couple of hours. 

Now he is layin in my recliner with one of Bubba's favo quilt blankies I got for him. 

And here's the baby!!  LOL My Mr. Boopie Woopie Boo!!

Little stinker!!  I got him that striped bear and he drags that thing all over, we take it with when we go bye bye too, and of cource he drags it to bed with us at night too.  It is bigger than him and I usually have to help him get up in the bed with it!!  LOL oh my babies!!  Just love em so!!

On to the sign I did,  Two hearts that beat as one is on the altered chipboard heart.   I cut out the vine and added some light pink flowers with a dab of TIM HOLTZ Stickles in the middle.   

I did one large layered flower on the bottom left corner.   I started out with a large sheet music paper rosette, then instead of leaving it whole I cut in between all the petals then added an old hymnal page flower, with the same pink glitter stickles on the edges, an aqua colored flower and then pink polka dotted flower then another small hymnal flower and topping the stack off is a recycled button with some light green bakers twine as a bow. 

So here is the finished sign.

And I also made a Mothers Day card.

I had to play with the little bug today "my cricut" so cut out the scalloped tag and used it as the center of the card.  Love love love that paper. 

I used my PAPER TREY INK mothers day stamp set on this.    "Words can never express how much I appreciate you" is the verse on the bottom. 

Not too much else done today,  I had to repaint 2 of the wine glasses I am painting for a friend as they werent quite up to par.   I dont think I care much for painting on glass!!  This has been quite an experience!! 

So I hope yall have a great night.  Tomorrow is baking day so will be playin in the flour and sugar and cream.   I am thinkin of maybe makin some Irish Soda bread, some olive bread, and lemon buttermilk cakes and maybe some of my Grandma Rose's pumpkin pie spice bread.

2nd CR84FN project today

I was so amazed at how nice these colors went together I was inspired to use them in another photo frame/sign.  This is all about LOVE!!  Once again the colors are:

CR84FN altered project for yall

So with all this s**** SNOW*** I decided to stay at home ALL DAY!!  well my mom had other plans, we went out to lunch nearby and had an awesome lunch with my brother!!   When I got home I decided to do an altered project for the color challenge over at CR84FN, the tourgoise, brown and red were just too fun to just make a card.    GOOD GOLLY MISS MOLLY>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>it has been 25 minutes and only a couple of my pics are here!! the rest didnt even show up here!

Well I will explain and show ya what is here.   This is a wood sign I bought at a dollar store awhile ago, it was kind of cool but I wanted to alter it up!!  My chicken scratch way! LOL

Here are a few of the embellishments I cut out and distressed.

The big heart is old sheet music from an old hymnal, I gathered up some red crepe paper and glued that to the back side, then stamped a few flourishes on the heart and distressed the edges.  The little heart is  the same sheet music but I stamped grid lines on it first then added the black around the edges. 

OOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPPSSSSSSSSSS we interupt this project for a Buster potty break!!  This is in the back yard I shoveled a path out for them but Bus takes his own route!! 

I love how the snow is around his neck and paws!! 

 

Anyway here are all the pieces and parts put together on this sign for Valentines day!! 

 And I did up some more alpha tiles for pendants.  And the completed sign!!  Also I added some great pink/silver german glass glitter flakes to the insides of the flowers for "bling". 

AND<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< < MY BUBBA dog seems to be doin better!! YEAH!! He hasnt gotten sick since early this am and also has been more alert and ate his "cookies" I even took out my stethascope from my ambulance days and made sure to listen to his little belly for movement!! I was a bit worried about maybe a blockage or something like that, hopefully he just had a case of gastritis and he is on the mend!!   Mommy loves these guys so much!!
