Ok also almost forgot to post about ONE WORLD ONE HEART!!  This is the 5th and final year for this amazing and fun blog hop!!  I have been in it for 3 years and have met some wonderful bloggin friends on here!!  SOOOOOOOOOOOO now I have to figure out what I will make for this event!  Last year I sent out a pendant, some paper rosettes and also an altered framed captured fairy so with this being the last year I gotta come up with something extra special!! Will post asap!!

You can figure this out someone will definitely recieve a pkg of mixed things cut with my little bug too!! LOL   It is aquamarine my birthstone color~~ YEAH!! that is kind of cool!!

Most of yall know but my mom and I have a flower/bakery shoppe here in out little town and with Valentines day we had a super busy nutso week and weekend so we are taking today to do something fun for us with my brother!!  Closed the shop today and it will be all about us doing things together!!  YEAH!!! We all need a break and a little r and r!!  I will be back at the kitchen tomorrow baking up some new treats so will post all about it.   Allegan MI market is thurs and friday I will be in Kalamazoo at Bronson Winter Market.

Handmade cards

I had some free scrappin time this early am and made up a few get well cards.  Love the colors together too!!  So I used some patterened papers, some chipboard cutouts that I bought from Hobby Lobby, a great little verse stamp from STAMPING UP collection, and also a couple of flowers oh and of cource my newest favo thing Bakers Twine!!  The swirls and bracket were cut from green cardstock and the chipboard pieces were painted sanded just a bit and misted with Cherry Blossom spray by TATTERED ANGELS, great glimmer mist. 

A litte sheer pink ribbon and light green bakers twine add just the right touch to the flowers.  I did a bit of zig zag stitches with my sewing machine and also distressed the edge of papers. 

Well it is really REALLY snowing here now!!! we did get quite a few inches already and more coming tonight.   I did just get home from the kitchen had to make more of my peanut peanut butter whoppie pies, cranberry pecan lemon sandwich cookies and also made up some more of my espresso sandwich cookies for orders and also for at the shop this week.  And more sugar cookie pops to decorate to add to arrangements or they are cute just as a cookie arrangement.   Lots of stuff to do yet to get ready for valentines.  Hubby loves those peanut butter pies so  I made extra to wrap some up and put in his truck as a nice little suprise.  Now just have to make a cute card and have all the boys sign it with their little piggy prints!! just for daddy!! LOL

I am gonna take pics today for the start of my giveaways on ONE WORLD ONE HEART!!  stop on by to see the goodies I have made for.  There will be 3 yepper 3 different things I am giving away to celebrate this year!

It is rainin and gloomy out right now but hopefully wont freeze.  It did get to (are ya ready for this one?) 39.7 yesterday!!  Holy Chicken! that is nuts!!

Speaking of chicken..........the girls are all doin quite well.  They are allowed out in the big pen we have for them but NOT loose yet!! too many hungry hawks loomin around and I am NOT providing them a smorgasboard any time soon!! LOL   The boys are all crashed out on the couches by me, we moved our puter out in the living room since crashing a few weeks ago and I gotta tell ya I LOVE it out here.  Now to find a desk and it will stay out here.  Hubby and I play games together on it we surf the web together and the best part is the boys are close by!! We used to have it in an extra bedroom and I always felt so far away from my family.  Not anymore!! 
Ok so I better git to it and "get er done" for tomorrow!!!

8 inside pages are embellished on front and back , I used some My Minds Eye patterened papers, stamps, stickers, flowers, buttons, metal brads, fibers, ribbons, mini coin envelope, and lots of tags. A metal book ring binds this together, the front and back are thin wood covered to ensure this will last. Unused brown cone coffee filters are the inside pages which open on the ends for hidden treasures. I have added a tag in each page, there is plenty of journaling room and also for your photos. All materials are high quality scrapbook grade which is acid lignon free.

Well big news!! we are making flavored pastas for markets now. I am trying to figure a way to not dry them too much as I feel thru eating it myself drying tends to take a bit away from the flavor. Once I do that they will go on for sale here and my etsy shoppe. So far the spinach is wonderful and I am goin to do tomato basil this week.

I hope yall have a super blessed weekend!! we are expecting rain RAIN in Jan??? in MI? what the heck!! oh well it is warm though, a whoppin 36 degrees now~~
