A bag and a card day

This am I finished painting a market bag for ME!  With of cource chickens! I added a denim pocket from am old pair of jeans that were trashed but I just didnt want to throw them away and some black seam binding bows.  I think it will be perfect for my change purse, my notebook and pens and of cource whatever odds-n-ends that end up finding it a home.

And I made this cute many thanks matchbook style card for a friend.  I love polka dot anything so found this great light blue paper with red dots.  The inside has plenty of space to write a message.  This is the front of the card.  The red/white bakers twine is so cute on projects I love to add it.  and if there wasnt already enough dots I used some great polka dotted ribbon too!! LOL  WEll I am off to start hauling in some wood as we are under a winter storm with anywhere from 12-16 inches coming in tonight!!  YEAH more snow!!  So better git ready for it!

For all of you that are new to my blog here is a quick rundown of my life:
My great hubby and I  have a small farm and grow chemical free produce and raise chickens for eggs.  I am fully licesensed to bake and sell at local farmers markets and opened a small town bakery in Fennville with my mom's flower shop.  I love to do altered art/scrapbooking and mixed media along with paint primitive treasures.  I believe in buying local and handmade to keep our creativity unique!!  You might see me in craft shows in and around MI thru the fall and winter.    AND I have 3 boys "dogs" that are the light of my life!!  Love you boys!! Buster, Bubba and Barney as you see on my side bar.  That is about it plain and simple and I LOVE MY LIFE!!

Ok so here is the 2nd giveaway~~ A handmade card that has the word CHERISH stamped on it using JUST RITE stamps,  I made the little paper rose on the heart and loved it so much added some to the side of the altered little shadow box captured fairy I made.

OWOH tomorrow~~

I am gonna take pics today for the start of my giveaways on ONE WORLD ONE HEART!!  stop on by to see the goodies I have made for.  There will be 3 yepper 3 different things I am giving away to celebrate this year!

It is rainin and gloomy out right now but hopefully wont freeze.  It did get to (are ya ready for this one?) 39.7 yesterday!!  Holy Chicken! that is nuts!!

Speaking of chicken..........the girls are all doin quite well.  They are allowed out in the big pen we have for them but NOT loose yet!! too many hungry hawks loomin around and I am NOT providing them a smorgasboard any time soon!! LOL   The boys are all crashed out on the couches by me, we moved our puter out in the living room since crashing a few weeks ago and I gotta tell ya I LOVE it out here.  Now to find a desk and it will stay out here.  Hubby and I play games together on it we surf the web together and the best part is the boys are close by!! We used to have it in an extra bedroom and I always felt so far away from my family.  Not anymore!! 
Ok so I better git to it and "get er done" for tomorrow!!!
