Light pink, cream and black!! so very cool!!

I layered some flowers and cut and painted the sheet music pink petals.
SO LOVIN the pearl flourishes, gonna have to go buy more they are just wayyyyyyyyyy cool!! and add so much to a project!

This was gonna be a baby girl card but I decided to do a thank you instead.  Using a definition word stamp by Stamping Up this makes the perfect card.

CR84FN card challenge day

OH MY GOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!  I so love these colors together and can see a few project coming this week with them!! So retro kind of feelin!!
and anything and everything with  PINK is just wonderful to me!!  LOL  GREAT COLORS MONA!! and you need to check out the super duper inspiration from the design team for these fabo colors too!!  You will surely want to make something!!

ok so I decided to use my great mothers day stamp set by Papertrey Ink on this one since that holiday is just round the corner.

I adhered some vintage sheet music from an old hymnal I bought onto a chipboard butterfly.   Added some pearls for antannea and also used my pink stickels by TIM HOLTZ!
A scrap of vintage cream ribbon and some ivory daisy flowers makes this challenge complete!

I really like this card.  I also added some pearl beads to match the butterfly on the daisys and used some Chalkbox ink in pink.

And here are my lemon blueberry muffins for an order done!   Using fresh squeezed lemons I added a nice lemony glaze to the tops.  Easy peasy too, just make your glaze, put in a little ziplock baggie, snip one little corner off the bottom and drizzel away!! makes it so easy and decorative!!

It is 75 degrees out and me and the boys been out doin some much needed yard work.  Planted the first of the glad bulbs and raked and cleaned off the deck for the boys to be on and brought out our outdoor set.  My mom and brother and the boys sat and had a relaxing little time sitting in the shade with a nice warm breeze blowing out there.  Cant believe it is so so sooooooooooo nice out!!  So ready for spring!! and I think it is finally here!!  WOO HOO!!!
I am off to ride my pretty pink bike and play outside some more.  Have a wonderfully blessed sunday and be back tomorrow!!

CR84FN challenge card

I am early this week with my card!! WOO HOO!! Love the colors!! Mona you do a super terrific job on pickin these weekly challenge colors!! and they are colors I wouldnt necessarily make something with so that is really the fun part!!

Green, kraft and brown this week are just awesome together!! and I used up some of the My Minds Eye paper I got last week! and one of my TIM HOLTZ favo stamps!!

Here's some of the elements on the card.

Love these little K&CO daisies, I cut the leaves out of a green polkadotty paper then added the distressing around edges and in center.  Folded them to give them some dimension.

I love using pearl hat pins and this one just fit in on this shabby card.

Started stocking up on our dip mixes.  They are for sale here or on etsy for $2.50 each plus travel expenses.  The dill dip one makes a yummo yummy yummyo dip or topping for baked taters!!  Each one makes 2 cups of dip and I have made them with sourcream and mayo or for a low fat one use low fat plain yogurt to replace the mayo and they taste just fine.

I also have but forgot a pic of my cincinatti chili mix!! this you add 2 pounds of cooked drained ground beef and enjoy it ontop of angel hair pasta.  We like it southern style!!  Smothered and covered!! smothered with sauteed onions and covered with cheese!!  yummy!!
Ok so that is it for today!
I also want to announce that I was accepted and will be at BORGESS hospital market on thrus APRIL 7th and April 21st!!
Kalamazoo MI, stop on by!~! it is held 11-2
I have a busy week baking so will be sure to take the cam with and let yall see the newest baked goods!!  I am thinking of making some nut filled babka loaves, nut filled kolachky, lemon lemon cream topped cupcakes and maybe some lemon poppy seed mini cakes.  I bought a bag of fresh delish smellin lemons!!  LOL so need to put them to good use!
Talk soon!

HEY YALL!!  my goodness it has been a hectic week, gettin ready for winter markets and well just tryin to get things cleaned up and organized for planting time.  We have to replace all the plastic around our greenhouse very soon like this weekend soon!! The winter winds just trashed it and shredded every piece on it.
It is a new week which means a new color challenge too!!  and these colors are so nice and vibrant and fun!!

While my mom and I were at hobby lobby yesterday buying some prom goodies for the shop I also purchased some great and I mean GREAT looking papers by of cource my favo MY MINDS EYE!! the line is called lost and found and I bought every one, well 2 of each kind anyway I could have gone "chick wild" and bought them all for sure!!
They have a very nice vintage feel and look and oh they are just wayyyyyyy too me!!  LOL I will have some extra time this weekend now that the Glenn Winter market on saturdays is over so that means CREATE time!!!   YEE HAW!!  makes me happy happy!!
I had a bunch of asst color mulberry paper flowers that looked great layered on this card.   and as yall know I adore polka dots!!    The green card base is by MARTHA STEWART, and then I added the garnet colored cardstock to the back of my patterend paper, this is one of the sheets I loved called vintage princess.

The numbered sheet is by MY MINDS EYE one of the ones I just love!!  and then the pearl flourish was new I cut it up and added this piece and then have a page in mind for the other part of it.  Love those colors too.

Marvelous Monday CR84FN card

Actually any day I spend at home with my boys is MARVYY!!   I have to brag about our new little guy Bruno!! he just has been such a joy and little love bug and has fit in our family perfectly.   This is just what we needed to move on and heal our hearts and like I mentioned before we really believe our beloved Bubba had a "paw" in helping us and guiding us to Bruno.
Ok so on to this weeks color challenge for cr84fn LOVE THESE together.  Plum, Lavender, and Green YUMMO! colors!!
I ended up using some cream color paper and painted it light lavender and plum to mimic watercolors.    The flower is one of my altered chipboard flowers, painted, stamped then I added some purpley colored Tim Holtz glitter stickles and wiped it off a bit.     The happy hellos is stamped using one of my STAMPING UP greeting stamps.

I used green paper and stamped and polka dotted it up then antiqued it a bit for the stem and leaves.   The sheet music on bottom has the words happy hellos stamped randomly on it.
I doodled the flourishes and dots around the flower with a blk marker pen.

This is Miss Olivia with her spring flower collar on, she is  our special visitor to market.  She is such a litle doll baby and what a personality!!

My Buster chillin on his couch!! yes it is just his couch, hubby wont let me pitch it and really it is because Buster loves this couch and sprawls out on it everyday!!  We will keep it in the living room just for him.

And my other boys chillin on our new couch.

And with yesterday being the first official day of spring we had to share pics of my friends baby goats.  These little does are only 2 days old. and just too adorable.  We started the spring day off with sleet, snow then rain then ended with lots of thunder and lightning.    Crazy michigan weather but we love this area!!

Elsie with her younuns.

LOOK at that most precious face!! I want baby goats!!  lol one day we will add on the side of the barn a little birthing room!!  just for goats!!

My nanny would make really cute babies but she doesnt like any other goats besides Beau her buddy but he is a weather  (fixed) so cannot make babies and I really dont think she would do well so will have to get another nanny.    I dont see a problem with that we love goats and 2 isnt enough! LOL
Hope  yall have a wonderful springy day!!
Be back soon
