Busy Busy days this week

These are packages of my newest chocolate bark. White chocolate bark filled with chopped pistachios and almonds and dried cranberries!! SO YUMMO!

I like the way the little tags turned out too. They are perfect to gift someone like your mail carrier, teacher, friends, coworkers you get my idea!!

These are 4 oz bags and sell for $3.25 a bag. (plus their travel expenses) IF you would like one PLEASE EMAIL ME OR LEAVE ME A COMMENT HERE~

Now on to what I have been doin up at 3.00 am the last few mornings! Cant sleep I am too excited to paint!! LOL

Ok i do have 5 more that just need the finishing touches so will post those pics later or tomorrow!!

The snowmen decorating the tree is my absolute favorite one! BUT i do like the one i am finishing up this am with a snowman and a deer... well no the tree one is my favo!! I am goin to do it with a darker tan backround too i think.

These are all my hp designs, no patterns just paint-n-go!!LOL

I am off to finish signs and then to the kitchen. I signed up for a few more shows. NEXT weekend is the Lowell MI christmas thru Lowell with like over 200 exhibitors!! Will post more on that too. BUT THIS SAT!!! DONT FORGET MOUNT PLEASANT West Intermediate School show!!! SOME GREAT TREASURES THERE! and yours truly will be there with lots of sweet treats and primitives for yall!~

New sign and paintin projects

Hey yall!! I love the striped sign I finished for up at the shop!! Maybe will have to do a couple more big big ones for out front for the bakery stuff.

I made up a couple new things for the shop too.

First thanks to a gift from a friend of mine Kim Lance last xmas I came up with a couple of garlands to hang around shop. Snow is on old mason jar bands. As u can see above I cut out my own chipboard letters, painted and distressed them and of cource the " farmgirl bling" being glitter then adhered some of My Mind's Eye great holiday pack papers to use on the lid. Added the letters to each one speckeled them with white for snowflakes and will put them on either twine or rusty wire to hang.

I cut out the letters winter and brr to do a few more and will show pics as soon as they are done. Plus I have 5 big signs almost finished to show ya but they are drying outside right now!

So will see yall in a bit!!

Painting today~

Well figured I better get to painting some new signs for my show sat in mount pleasant. Here are a few i did last year and will do similar ones today and a couple of new ones too! TOO many ideas floating around in my head so better get them down in paint huh~~

A kids skate lamp I did for shows last year. I found 3 pair a couple of weeks ago to do more of these!! The double blade skates are really hard to find. My mom pointed them out to me at a thrift store we were in so CHA CHING!! they were all in my basket immediately!!

All these signs sold last year at the show my friends and I put on in Decatur the weekend after thanksgiving! We rented a very cool old old schoolhouse, stuffed it full of holiday treasures and also I put on a lunch for it!! WE had a blast~ now gettin ready to do it again in a few weeks!!

Norton Wood show will be friday sat sun starting the day after thanksgiving!! MARK YOUR CALANDERS~! more primitives and sweet treats this year!!

The show yesterday was ok NOT nearly as busy as any other shows. They ended up with 85 booths and a good selection of items too just not many customers around.

Sat show~ Holland West Shore Mall

Got lots to do today to get ready for the show tomorrow!!

I did lots of baking and prep yesterday and wish i would have had my cam with me. I hopped on over to martha stewarts site and found these absoutely **adorable** little cake pops and a recipe. WELLLLLLLL I made my own devils food cake up and added some homemade cream cheese frosting then after chillin in the freezer dipped them in chocolate and rolled in some toppings! OH my goodness they are cute!! and super cakeilicious!! and really instead of havin all the guilt of eating a big ol piece of cake these little guys are just 2 bitefuls of pure sweet heaven!! will post pics later of them.

Made some brown sugar cookies filled with toasted almond bits and did the "farmgirl bling" on them with some melted chocolate, good cookies too. Also did up some of my pistachio bread, cranberry lemon scones, (super sconeilicious) peanut butter chocolate fudge, dipped popcorn balls, choc chip cookies, cake roll mixes ready to bake today, oh and a cheesecake topped brownie that was incredibly yummo!! And also did up 3 different kinds of my chunky moist brownies one pan was topped with halloweeny m and m's, another has raspberry preserves swirled in and the third one is cream cheese carmel swirled with chocolate chips.

I think that was it. So I hope yall have a great friday!! Will let yall know on Sunday how the show was and will have pics!! Gotta get things done here so I can get to the kitchen and play!!

Some baking pics for ya

WEll guess what!! I FOUND my dig camera!! Cant believe it was under some papers on the butcher block table in kitchen!! AND I searched everywhere and I mean everywhere. WEll apparently NOT!! LOL so here are pics that i took that day at the kitchen.

~~LIVE LIFE These were just really cute little candy corn shaped sugar cookies. JOYFULLY~~and SIMPLY~~These are pumpkin bread with raisins

and they were really flavorful!~! LOVE punkin recipes!! too yummy

I did add some orange zest in with the pumpkin and it sure was a nice addition to the bread.

So today I am heading over to the kitchen to make up some mixes and do some chocolate pretzels for my show this weekend at West Shore Mall in Holland MI OH if you come you will not leave hungry i plan on having lots of samples out!

Samples will include my pumpkin spice dip, taffy apple dip, pistachio bread, fudge and maybe a bar cookie sample too. Will see what all i can get accomplished today with what i have at kitchen. Oh and definetly will have my pumpkin cake rolls for sale and a chocolate cake roll too!! COME ON OVER!!

So Barney's date went very well and hopefully we will have puppies on the way!! We all left for a couple hours to give the little couple some privacy so it was productive time!! LOL

WELL MY LITTLE MR. BOOPIE WOOPIE BOO HAS A DATE TODAY!!!

yepper that is right Barney is meeting up with a little gal Callie today~ He met her a few months ago in hopes that they would hit it off and we can let him daddy some pups well the time is NOW! So my little boy will have to get spiffed up today for his big date!! LOL I posted a couple of my favo pics of him. The one is when we had just brought him home oh i LOVE that pic!!~ the other one I could just hear him saying "what you talkin bout mommy?"

AND THIS PIC IS A FAVO OF MINE OF BUSTER a couple of years ago!! HE looks so mad!! His little eyebrows are even wrinkled up!! He really didnt like the hair I put on his hat at all!! LOL

>>>>>>>>> these cookies are nekked!~! above you can see how I "did the farmgirl bling" to them!! They are absolutley a wonderful cookie too! I found a recipe for them and decided it would be fun to use some of my powdered chai tea mix for flavor. WOW! they are good and the buttercream filling actually has a bit of it in also! very mild but yet full flavored.

I love these little mini struesel filled pumpkin cakes!! they are so moist and flavorful!!

so I did go to market yesterday am but after 2 1/2 hours of nothing but picking things up from the strong winds we had I decided to pack things up and wait for the pick up customers to come and then leave. It was horrible both of my big wood weighted down display racks blew over and then after picking all that up and putting them back in trailer the gusts were so strong it was just like throwing things around. Enough is enough!! A couple of my gift mugs got broken and then a container of cookies blew off table and of cource didnt survive the crash. Darn the boys were able to eat some pieces of those though. So last market day was sad!!

BUT>>>>>>>>>>>>> I am baking today to fill the shop tomorrow with goodies!! Dont forget all you close by folks FLORAL TOUCH FLORIST just west of Fennville will have all my baked goods for you!! I am planning on having more of the mini pumpkin cakes above and also a couple of large full ones, some cookies, muffins, a couple of cakes, candies, and lots of chocolate treats!! Plus this week i will put out samples so come on in and enjoy!!! We are off M-89 the main road to fennville, just 2 miles east of Blue Star Highway. 269-543-4815

If you dont already know I do use as much locally made/grown produce in my baked goods, in fact I froze a ton of zucchini, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, peaches and everything else I could to use this winter. My silly dilly beans and all my jalapeno jellies are there and I made some fresh Spiced apple butter last week.

I better get my little boy all ready for his date now and hopefully he is returning home a changed guy!! LOL
