OH I LOVE HOW THEY TURNED OUT AND WILL HAVE TO HAVE ONE FOR ME!! maybe actually i will do one today that spells out HMMMMMMMMMM what should i do?? maybe Farmgirl, Chick, Create??? gosh!! too many ideas!! IN FACT now i have another idea for a necklace!! will go do that in a bit. I think i will list these guys on my esty shoppe.

Took these while doin chores last night so it is quite dark sorry!! Harvey as you can see only has FOOD on his mind i could not get him to look up until i put some scratch mix in my hand!! LOL no wonder why he weighs so much!! Miss May is the same always with her nose to the hay or whatever she finds!! SHE loves taco bell hard shell tacos and baked tostitos!! Baked since a girl needs to watch her figure ya know!! LOL she is a little MISS PIG!! and Beau is my sweet boy he is so precious and mild mannered and just plain ol sweet!! (kind of like his mom huh>>>???) right!!

OK off to work more in the craft room, gosh i am home ALL day today!! YEAH WOO HOO!! YEE HAW!!! create create and create more!! Can u tell one of my work stations is cleaned and organized!! Its amazing what you can do with ROOM to work!! ROFL!!

It is raining and just plain ol yukky here!! I am doctoring myself for this danged cold that i finally called the doctor bout yesterday and got a couple of prescriptions also i have a sick turkey HARVEY, will try to get a pic of him tonight. He is our 49lb white turk and has a respiratory infection, called all over on sat trying to find some water solualble poultry antibiotic but every supply store open was out>????what's up with that?? anyway called vet yesterday am and then found some at a feed store so ran there after work last night to get him started asap!! so please please remember my poor Harvey with just a little get well wish!!!! He is so friendly and in summer when i am workin outside he comes when i call him and does his gobble gobble for me!! LOL too stinkin fun!! Our michigan weather is just crazy one day it is 15 degrees today it is 35 and so slushy wet and damp. I would much rather have it snowing!!! Yall know that!!

Moe,Gus and altered pendants!!

Well here are Moe and Gus 2 of our white palm turkeys, they are so cool!! I can talk to them and they come running and talk (gobble ) back to me. LOL and as you can see i am posting pics of some altered art pendants i been doing since 4 am this am!! Just want to create and they are so much fun to do!! I did list some on my etsy site if ya wanna take a peek along with my charm bracelets. Actually i am on my way to the bakery to make some more goodies for our farmstand and also am thinkin bout making some sweet tater butter!! Sounds yummy if you like sweet taters that is!! we love em. So what is your weather like today? IT is downright cold, windy, rainy and miserable out but that is the start of winter here. 40 degrees so it is winter coat and mitten day. One a good note i actually almost fell over when i drove into gas station last night $1.99 a gallon DO YOU REMEMBER the last time gas was below 2.00?? WOW!! that was a nice surprise. OK WHAT WAS THE CHEAPEST YOU REMEMBER GAS??? When i first started driving it was .89cents a gallon!!

Some of our Flock

Happy Sunny Day!! Here's some pics of some of our flock, they are in the big pen we built just waiting for me to open the gate and let them run!! We have such a problem with hawks and coyotes that we had to build this pen that is 50 feet long and 18 feet wide complete with handsewn chicken wire top so they are safe when i am not home. The white palm turkeys are so pretty we have 1 hen and 2 toms and those boys strut their stuff so proudly!! We have 4 geese which are also pretty and NOT aggressive thank goodness, then the guinneas which are very cool, they are the watch dogs of the barnyard. We also have 3 white peking ducks and one female mallard which is our "little duck Annie" who by the way does not go in the duck pool for some reason but she is adorable and small. I kept joking that i was going to write a kids book about the duck that doesnt like water!! Then there are my "girls" our hens we have all kinds and them some, since we hatch our own eggs we get some really pretty different looking girls. Auracanas, white rock, barred rock, rhode island reds, sultans, crested polish, silkies, and a couple of frizzles which are absolutely adorable. They are in the pic on top in the cage as they are still quite young and very friendly too!! It is cold here so wont do too much in the greenhouse today we got a light frost the other night and it has really put things on hold for a bit. We need to clean out the horse barn and spread that manure on back garden then maybe cut some grass if it dries out more. BUT the sun is shining and bright so all is good!!
