This was an altered ornament I made for the christmas shows. Recycled bingo chips covered with paper and stamped letters to spell JOY. I stamped some swirls on the wood square with white paint, then added a vintage pic and some paper behind it.

Today is all about creating, will be working on a couple of new ideas and also finishing up some 1/2 dones. Which i have plenty of them in my studio!! too many!! And it is suppossed to be in the upper 30s outside again and really the 7 day forcast is looking pretty good!! no real chance of snow and in the 30s all next week! I have markets next week so will try out some new things, especially pasta!! the spinach pasta we made last week was awesome! Let me tell yall if you havent had fresh pasta OH ARE YALL IN FOR A TREAT!! try it!! we did spinach and it was so incredible, it only has to cook for 2-3 min and when done we just topped it with butter (of cource) grated parmesean cheese and some salt and pepper. It outshines dry ol pasta that you buy in the stores!! I wont go back NO way NO how!! LOL it is fresh for me!! I may try some just to have a longer shelf life so we can enjoy more of it. Maybe will try some stuffed ravioli too?? sounds good.

Off to do chores and create!!

Soldered glass bracelet

Ok so here is one of the projects i just finished up today!! I LOVE IT!! Someone gave me some of these thick glass squares, not sure what they are from but it looked like they were on a sheet or something similar. Anyway I knew this would make a great bracelet. I took the letters DREAM adhered them to the back of glass then put several layers of diamond glaze on them, wrapped with my handy dandy copper tape and soldered each one including a jump ring on top. So added a few glass beads in shades of blues, a few silver beads and a few clear glass seed beads and there ya have it!!! Another to addition to my jewelry!! HAPPY MONDAY!

NEW YEAR NEW LOOK!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BACKROUND!!! IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ME!! don't yall think so??? LOL

Ok well my boys said their cake was lip smakin good!! SEE!!!!!!!!! They all had frosting around their mouths!! TOO FUNNY!They enjoyed themselves!! And the little birthday boy Barney got to open a couple of presses!! a new stuffed toy and a sqeaky football and a rawhide bone!!! LUCKY DOG!!! LOL

Here's a peek at a couple new things i finished up today: another altered charm bracelet this one says angel with a couple altered vintage angel pics, lots of colored glass beads which you really cant see too good, a get well soon card for a friend, a hello card for another friend and then i am still working on 2 friends altered coffee filter books so hope to have them done tonight. I have to work the weekend so hope yall have a blessed new years weekend~ and will be back here monday {maybe sooner LOL}

Took these while doin chores last night so it is quite dark sorry!! Harvey as you can see only has FOOD on his mind i could not get him to look up until i put some scratch mix in my hand!! LOL no wonder why he weighs so much!! Miss May is the same always with her nose to the hay or whatever she finds!! SHE loves taco bell hard shell tacos and baked tostitos!! Baked since a girl needs to watch her figure ya know!! LOL she is a little MISS PIG!! and Beau is my sweet boy he is so precious and mild mannered and just plain ol sweet!! (kind of like his mom huh>>>???) right!!

OK off to work more in the craft room, gosh i am home ALL day today!! YEAH WOO HOO!! YEE HAW!!! create create and create more!! Can u tell one of my work stations is cleaned and organized!! Its amazing what you can do with ROOM to work!! ROFL!!

Winter Storm thursday

We have a severe winter storm blowing in tonight suppossedly around midnight we are expected to get anywhere from 5-13inches of snow!! YEAH! love it!! Just gettin sick of the really really cold weather we are having. Well it is MICHIGAN!! LOL anyway here is a pic of one of my projects i did manage to finish up today. "LOVE" an altered art charm bracelet. I love making these and have 4 more on my work table ready for me to finish them. Happy Hump day!!

HAPPY HAPPY WINTER TIME!!

Gosh the days are just a flyin by!!.........................gone.............. OK DID YALL WATCH BIGGEST LOSER LAST NIGHT????????? OMGOODNESS we were so happy that MICHELLE won!! YEAH for her and my gosh I couldnt believe the transformations in the contestants!! A BIG WAY TO GO!!! We are so happy for Michelle's new life and the life regained with her beautiful mom. I cant imagine being that displaced from my mom as we are best friends and talk at least 2 times a day (most times more than that)LOL, but to not talk for years WOW!! I cant imagine. But that show is so inspiring and moving glad it will be back on in jan!! YEAH!!!

Well it was quite a strange day i must say, i worked part of the day and it just STRANGE!! My coworker friends and I get together the second week of dec to bake and deliver cookies to the docs that we directly work with so that was fun and they all looked so nice!! I got pics but not sure how to get them off my phone LOL so when hubby gets home will have him show me.

I did mangae to make some pkgs of my TAFFY APPLE DIP MIX and listed them on my etsy shop and will sell here too. IT IS YUMMY!! good with apple wedges, pretzels, crackers, nilla wafers, animal cookies or oh and i love this idea we had!! ON A TOASTED BAGEL!! YUMMY!!!!!!!:) You will recieve a pkg of the mix itself and then i include a pkg of roasted chopped peanuts that you can top it off with. All you have to add is 2 YEPPER THAT:S 2 ingredients then chill and serve. WHAT a delico" treat!!

Pkgs are $3.50 plus travel expenses which usually is under $2.00 in usa. Sooooooo if ya want some just give me a hollar. When i make this dip i usually will use 2 8 oz pkg of cream cheese but if you want it really sweet and gooey use just one. It does make alot though. **THIS IS MY RECIPE**

Ok here is an altered charm bracelet i listed on my etsy shoppe last night. It has altered mini bingo chips for the lettered charms which spell out DIVA with 17 asst glass beads and 3 clear glass heart beads. TOO much fun making these and hope after the holiday I will have a chance to really make some!! I ordered a jewlery book which features alot of altered art pieces so cant wait for that to come!!

ALTERED WEEK!!!

Ok i am sooooooooo very excited!!! YIPPEE YIPPEE!!! YEE HAW!!! as i have posted i am gettin ready for my show i leave tomorrow and will be back late sat night!! Been busy altered more skates, a suitcase, painted up more signs and gosh did some altered ornies and more altered jewlery which is my fav now!!! I ordered more charm bracelets and also necklaces that i can charm altere up!! THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH HOURS IN THE DAY!!! Hubby is staying home to take care of the farm chores and my 3 furry boys (which i will miss all of them immensly) even hubby!!!LOL I will post booth pics when i get home but really need to get back to my studio!!! I am currently also working on a magazine submission of something i made and will post all about that when i can get it done. TOO many stinkin ideas to do!!! HAVE yall seen the new Cloth Paper Scissors mag?? oh wonderful ideas in the latest issue!!! great snowman things !!! OK OK NOW i really got to get off here and back to creating!!! since that is not really work ya know!!! LOL

I have added 2 pics one of a Queen of olde crow pendant necklace i made and another charm bracelet!! Been busy cutting glass and acrylic pieces to make these and they are soooooooo cool!! cant wait to see what happens at the show with them IF all else fails i have lots of xmas gifts already done!!!

HAPPY THURSDAY YALL!! As you can see my Buster is doing good!! YEAH!! He is playing (getting ready to trash) a loofah dog his mommy and daddy brought home for him and one each for his brothers too. I dont know what we did butfor some reason all 3 boys trash their toys in like 2 seconds and the stuffin is flyin in the house!! You know as long as they are havin fun i can see spending a few bucks each on a new stuffed toy. Keep in mind not every day but when i can i buy them each something!! LOL good thing dollar stores carry plush toys!! guess you though i am gettin concerned WHAT is actually in each one. Maybe will start taking thier tore up ones and make em new again!! LOL Also i included 2 pics of new altered charm bracelets i am making up LOVE those!! they are fun to make too and pretty quick. I listed them on my etsy site for sale to and do accept special orders so if you want a truly one of a kind unique gift give me a hollar!!

It is raining a bit now and we are expecting rain thru the weekend! Glad market is over but sure miss it already!! LOL I have been craftin alot and paintin alot to get ready for my show next weekend!! it will be here before i know it that is for sure!! Well gotta go watch SURVIVOR!! missed it last week and for some reason it didnt record=(URGGGGGGGGG!!
